I am Penny Butler — an educator, minister, photographer, and innovator whose life’s work is rooted in weaving together purpose, creativity, and transformation. My journey has been anything but ordinary, shaped by seasons of service, study, and soulful reflection. Each path I’ve walked — whether standing before a congregation, capturing light through a lens, or guiding learners to embrace new skills — has carried the same heartbeat: to help others discover the beauty, brilliance, and calling already within them. I see myself not as just a teacher or creator, but as a weaver of stories, connections, and futures.
The name Woven carries deep meaning. It symbolizes the sacred thread of purpose that ties our past, present, and future together, and the way every experience — both triumphs and trials — creates patterns we may not always see at first. Seven, the number of completion and alignment, holds a special place in my life as the seventh child, marking my path with a sense of wholeness and divine timing. Through Woven by Design, I bring this philosophy to life, helping others embrace their identity, honor their gifts, and create the brands, businesses, and lives they were always meant to live.
